They then informed her to leave as she had "been there too long". According to them customers only spend two hours shopping. They escorted her outside in 40 degree weather and had her wait for a ride. Very bad business conduct on the part of the security department. Per security recommended length of visit is less than two hours. My recommendation is to drive ten minutes down the road to the next mall.
Fantastic Mall, fun for the whole family! A great Dallas landmark, 3 enormous floors of mall shopping from ordinary to high-end fashion. Particularly great around the Christmas holidays: the mall and indoor ice skating rink are beautifully decorated. Though large Macy's and Nordstrom are still there, doesn't have some of the anchor stores that it used to. Even so, the recent renovations have thoroughly modernized this excellent attractions. If Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic are your cup of tea, these are the largest you'll find as they occupy former anchor store locations.
Great indoor ice skating rink as well as great views from several floors. Terrific Skating Rink in the Galleria! I just visited the lovely city of Dallas for the first time this past week.
One of the places I sought out after seeing it online was the Galleria. It is pretty much standard as newer malls go, but it has an amazing indoor ice skating rink in the middle! The Galleria has a nice mix of midstream and upper-end shops, and one nice detail was that the Westin hotel was attached to the Galleria itself, terrific for anyone staying at the Westin!
Another positive note: there is plenty of valet parking to be found for a nominal fee. A ton of stores to shop from, but pricey! The Mall is huge, and even has an ice rink on the first floor. The store selection is amazing, but VERY pricey!
The mall also has a play area for small children. Lots of stores,too many too pricy. It has lots of stores,but few of them are moderately priced. And none of them seemed to cater to plus size figures. I suffered through this mall because my wife thought it was worth seeing.
Except for the ice rink this mall is no different than hundreds of malls across the US, Has your regular chains. I noted walking by that it does sport the "official Dallas Cowboys team store", whatever that means.
